About us
We are a non-profit entity, made up of a network of government entities, universities and companies. It was born from the need to generate an organized ecosystem of robotics technology and the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in Latin America with leadership capacity, connecting it with the entire world through its international allies.
Any proposal that seeks to reduce digital divides must focus on promoting the development of new digital skills, where skills in subjects such as science, communications, technology, engineering, computing and mathematics are at the center of a new literacy, not only for students and young people, but also for current professionals and workers. As long as this is not applied, the adoption of technologies such as AI or the Internet of Things (IoT) will continue to be difficult. Although the region accesses and uses digital tools, there is no strategic vision for their use. Currently, while the countries of the Global North such as Germany, Norway or Spain design national guidelines to take advantage of the wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (or Industry 4.0), Latin America continues to depend on the sale of raw materials to maintain their economies without agspread value or expand their knowledge.
